How to Play

First player to 16 points wins.

Cards 1–10 are shuffled and split openly: five cards per player.
At the start of each round, the game secretly chooses 7, 8, or 9 as the target.
Players take turns adding one card to the public pile.
If the new pile sum is a multiple of the secret target, that player wins points equal to the number of cards in the pile.
The target is revealed only when a player hits the jackpot. The first card can score normally.
After a jackpot, collect all ten cards, reshuffle, choose a new secret target, and begin a new round.
If all ten cards are played without a jackpot, nobody scores and the target remains hidden.
The starting player switches every round.

Read the possibilities: every pile sum may be safe for one target but dangerous for another. Decide whether to chase a likely jackpot or steer the pile away from several targets at once.
